Turkey’s largest (24-meter) fire-rated glass wall was constructed with the butt-joint technique in Acibadem Maslak Hospital.
The lobby and waiting areas of the children’s health and diseases department were aesthetically combined with a fire-resistant transparent fire wall.
Pentek glass fire doors were preferred for the rest of the project. In addition to the EI 60 and EI 90 class glazed fire doors and fixed partitions used throughout the building, EI 120 class fire-resistant glass partition walls were applied in the fire escape stairs. Glass controlled entrance doors were also selected from Pentek steel joinery systems.
